Cristina-Carmen Ferțu has been appointed as the new general secretary of Brașov County Council after winning a competitive selection process. She succeeds Maria Dumbrăveanu, who retired. Ferțu was officially introduced on September 24 during a council meeting led by President Adrian Veștea. At 47, she has a background in legal advisory roles, including positions at the County Directorate for Personal Records and the Permanent Electoral Authority. Her experience also includes serving as a legal advisor in the Prefect's Control Body and as a cabinet director in the Prefecture of Brașov.
