Consiliul General a aprobat declanșarea procedurii de insolvență a STB

Mayor Ciprian Ciucu emphasized that this decision is crucial to prevent further financial deterioration and protect the city's budget. He noted that the company's debts have reached approximately 3 billion lei, with potential costs for public transport in 2025 estimated at 5.6 billion lei. The mayor criticized the delay in addressing the issue and assured that public transport services will continue during the insolvency process.
