Emma Delaney has taken over as interim chair of OMV Petrom's Supervisory Board after Alfred Stern's resignation. She is the first woman and non-Austrian to hold this position. The appointment will be confirmed at the upcoming General Meeting on November 6, where shareholders can propose candidates until October 12. OMV Petrom is primarily controlled by OMV Aktiengesellschaft, which holds 51.15% of shares. Delaney, who became CEO of OMV on September 1, brings extensive experience from her previous role at bp, where she led global customer and product divisions. Her leadership is expected to guide the company through strategic decisions and investments, including the Neptun Deep gas project, crucial for Romania's energy sector.
