Consiliul Concurenței nu exclude un scenariu sensibil: companiile petroliere ar putea profita de ultimele zile înaintea noii plafonări la carburanți
Recent fuel price increases in Romania have raised concerns about supply issues or potential profit margin hikes by operators. The Competition Council is investigating these changes. President Bogdan Chirițoiu noted that prices have remained below the EU average during the price cap period. He mentioned that the recent spikes could be linked to supply disruptions from Kazakhstan or operators taking advantage of the upcoming price cap. The Council is collecting data from oil companies to determine the cause and expects to have a clearer picture by the end of the month.
