Consiliul Concurenței a autorizat preluarea unor active Azomureș de către Romgaz

The Competition Council has approved SNGN Romgaz SA's acquisition of certain assets from Azomureș SA, including production facilities and necessary contracts. This transaction aims to enhance Romgaz's operations in the chemical fertilizer sector. The deal was finalized at the end of August 2026, following an agreement signed in May. Romgaz will establish a new branch, Târgu Mureș Azomureș, focused on manufacturing basic organic chemical products. Azomureș, part of the Ameropa group, is a key player in Romania's fertilizer industry, specializing in nitrogen-based products.
