Consiliul Concurenței a aprobat fuziunea a două grupuri agricole franceze prezente în România

The Competition Council has approved the merger of French cooperative groups Maïsadour and Euralis, which operate in Romania mainly in the agricultural seeds market. The merger will integrate their activities into a new cooperative group. The authority found no significant competition concerns in the Romanian market. Euralis operates in Romania through Lidea Romania SRL and Istris SRL, while Maïsadour is represented by Maisadour Semences Romania SRL. Both cooperatives have broader international activities in seed production, agriculture, animal nutrition, and processing of animal products. The decision will be published after confidential information is removed.
