Conducerea DSVSA Brăila, demisă după focarul de variolă ovină. Ce nereguli au fost descoperite • Newsweek România

The leadership of DSVSA Brăila was dismissed due to incompetence following a sheep and goat pox outbreak. ANSVSA's head, Alexandru Bociu, stated that significant irregularities were found during inspections, including unregistered animals and discrepancies in livestock numbers. A team of 50 veterinary experts conducted extensive checks after the outbreak was confirmed. Bociu emphasized the importance of farmers adhering to regulations to prevent further outbreaks, highlighting issues with illegal animal sales. The disease has spread to multiple counties since its initial detection last year.
