Dacia's leadership emphasizes the importance of its Romanian operations amid speculation about Renault's presence in the country. Vice President Frank Marotte highlighted the need to maintain competitiveness and control costs to ensure the factory in Mioveni remains efficient. Following a visit from Renault Group's CEO, Francois Provost, who noted the challenges faced by operations in Romania, three priorities were set: enhancing competitiveness, accelerating transformation, and restoring commercial momentum. CEO Katrin Adt reaffirmed Romania's crucial role in Dacia's success, citing its complete automotive ecosystem and dedicated workforce. Despite an 8% sales decline in the first half of the year, Dacia showed signs of recovery in Q2.
