Ilie Bolojan announced that PNL is considering a political agreement with designated Prime Minister Luca Niculescu, while remaining in opposition. The agreement aims to outline conditions under which PNL could support certain government measures to ensure national stability over the next six months. Bolojan emphasized that this document will not constitute a coalition agreement and will not involve PNL joining the government. Key conditions include maintaining budget deficit targets and responsible public spending. PNL is also prepared to support the 2027 state budget if it is realistic and based on achievable revenues. Additionally, PNL will not initiate or vote on any no-confidence motions against the government during the first six months, provided the government adheres to the agreed principles.
