Concursul Internaţional George Enescu începe la Ateneul Român

The 20th edition of the George Enescu International Competition opens on Sunday at the Romanian Athenaeum with a concert featuring the National Radio Orchestra and the 2024 winners. The inaugural program includes contemporary works and a performance of Brahmsodia by Dan Dediu. The competition, running from August 23 to September 19, aims to connect Enescu's musical heritage with contemporary creation and emerging artists. Tickets are available online and in bookstores, with free access for students and people with disabilities.
