Concordia's Sucu: Romania, Central and Eastern Europe are a key part of Europe's industrial base
Dan Sucu, President of the Concordia Employers' Confederation, highlighted Romania's significant role in Europe's industrial landscape during the European Forum for New Ideas in Poland. He noted Romania's evolution from a low-cost assembly hub to a key player in sectors like automotive, energy, and IT. The country’s economic growth has been supported by investments from German, French, and Dutch companies. Sucu also emphasized the importance of cohesion in infrastructure development. At the event, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed with Lewiatan to enhance cooperation on economic and strategic issues, focusing on investment, labor, and innovation. The EFNI forum, now in its 15th year, gathered prominent leaders and policymakers to discuss regional challenges and opportunities.
