The Confederation of Employers Concordia has established a permanent office in Brussels to enhance the representation of Romanian businesses in EU decision-making. The office aims to influence funding opportunities for Romanian firms through the upcoming European Competitiveness Fund. Adelina Dabu, Director of European and International Affairs, emphasized the need for tailored co-financing for SMEs and equitable competition rules. The organization seeks to ensure that Romanian companies can compete fairly for EU funds, advocating for accessible participation conditions and mechanisms to prevent fund concentration in more developed economies. Concordia's efforts will be complemented by national measures to support strategic sectors and project development.
