Concluziile Comandamentului Energetic: „Deși față de luni situația energetică din regiune s-a complicat, România dispune de soluțiile necesare”

The Energy Command confirmed that Unit 2 of the Cernavodă Nuclear Power Plant will continue operating under safety standards, ensuring a balanced energy system. Despite previous announcements of a shutdown due to low river flow, the reactor remains active. The national energy system is stable, with all production capacities available, including coal-based sources. Upcoming forecasts indicate increased energy demand, particularly during evening peaks, with expected consumption rising to 7,800 MW next week. The Ministry of Energy is coordinating with major consumers to adjust their production schedules to alleviate pressure on the system. New photovoltaic capacities will also be integrated into the national grid soon.
