Currently, only surgical procedures and prescribed treatments qualify for such leave. The proposal emphasizes the importance of support for cancer patients during their medical journey, recognizing the need for companions during diagnostic and monitoring processes. The leave duration remains capped at 45 days per year, and the indemnity is set at 85% of the legal calculation base.
