Employees can have their vacation expenses reimbursed by their employer without tax deductions, thanks to a legal provision. This allows companies to cover vacation costs up to the value of an average gross salary annually, exempt from income tax and social contributions. The reimbursement can include accommodation, meals, transport, and family services, provided proper documentation is submitted. However, there is a monthly cap of 33% of the employee's gross salary for all non-taxable benefits. This option is not mandatory for employers, but can be proposed as an alternative to salary increases during negotiations.
