Concedierile istorice de la Volkswagen se adeveresc: 100.000 de angajaţi vor rămâne fără locul de muncă până în 2030

Volkswagen's supervisory board has unanimously approved a historic restructuring plan, aiming to cut 100,000 jobs over the next five years to address global competitive pressures. The "Future Plan 2030" includes eliminating 50,000 additional positions worldwide by 2030, on top of 50,000 already planned in Germany. This represents about 15% of the company's global workforce across ten brands. The company cites increasing global competition, changing demand, and technological shifts as reasons for the job cuts. Volkswagen also plans to halve its model range by 2035 and invest €135 billion in factories and R&D by 2031, while adapting its strategies in North America and China.
