CONAF: Ponderea femeilor în consiliile companiilor listate a crescut la 22,1%

The representation of women in the boards of companies listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange has slightly increased, but the total number of women remains unchanged. A study revealed that while the percentage rose from 21.4% to 22.1%, the actual count of women stayed at 82. The research highlighted that many boards still lack female representation, with some companies having no women at all. The study also pointed out discrepancies between state-owned and private companies regarding compliance with gender representation laws. Despite existing regulations, the implementation and accessibility of information remain problematic, raising concerns about transparency and accountability.
