Competition Council authorises merger between Maisadour and Euralis groups

The Competition Council has approved the merger between Maisadour and Euralis, allowing them to form a new cooperative group. The council determined that the merger would not hinder competition in Romania. Both cooperatives are involved in various agricultural sectors, including seed production and livestock farming. Euralis operates in Romania through Lidea Romania SRL and Istris SRL, while Maisadour is represented by Maisadour Semences Romania SRL. Both groups also sell duck meat products in the Romanian market.
