The Archdiocese of Alba Iulia and Făgăraș will participate in the 'Calix Sacerdotum' futsal championship for Catholic priests in Romania, celebrating its 10th anniversary. The event will take place in Bucharest from August 24-26, 2026, featuring eight teams divided into two groups. The competition includes both Roman Catholic and Greek Catholic priests, with matches scheduled and spiritual activities planned. A national team will be formed from the best players to represent Romania in an international event in Kosovo in February 2027.
