Competenţa celor care au elaborat Strategia Naţională şi Planul pentru Conservarea Biodiversităţii, pusă sub semnul întrebării de deputaţi
The National Strategy and Action Plan for Biodiversity Conservation 2026-2030 is under debate in the Chamber of Deputies after passing the Senate vote. Concerns were raised about the competence of the organizations that prepared the study, which involved a private firm and an NGO. Critics noted that the strategy was developed without field research, relying instead on existing data from Romsilva. Former Environment Minister Mircea Fechet highlighted that this method of study is not unprecedented. A total of 64 amendments have been proposed, with discussions ongoing but no progress made on the first amendment after an hour and a half.
