COMPARAȚIE. Românii vs. Centrala Nucleară. Ce s-ar întâmpla dacă prosumatorii ar livra mai mult în rețea
In Romania, the number of prosumers has surged, surpassing the installed capacity of the Cernavoda Nuclear Power Plant. However, when it comes to energy delivered to the national grid, Cernavoda remains dominant. Prosumers have a capacity of 3.4 GW, but only contribute about 17-18% of the energy produced by Cernavoda. If prosumers doubled their output, they could supply 35% of Cernavoda's annual production, potentially reducing imports and lowering midday prices. Yet, the distribution network may face challenges due to its design not accommodating numerous small producers. Ultimately, both energy sources serve different roles and are complementary.
