Companiile din România tind să își supraestimeze pregătirea pentru atacuri cibernetice - studiu - Economica.net
Romanian companies have made strides in cybersecurity adoption, but technology alone does not ensure readiness for attacks. A study by FORT SA highlights the importance of rapid incident identification, clear response plans, and regular testing. While basic technical measures are widespread, many organizations lack preparedness, with 15% having implemented key measures but never testing their response plans. Interestingly, better-prepared organizations report more incidents, indicating improved detection rather than increased attacks. Investment plans show a significant gap, with 54% of mature organizations planning to increase cybersecurity budgets. Employee training is crucial, as those who train report higher phishing incident rates. AI is widely adopted, yet only 37% have written policies for its use, raising concerns about sensitive data exposure. The study reflects practices among 211 organizations and is not statistically representative of all Romanian entities.
