Consumers can switch suppliers without penalties, but should be cautious of contracts that include additional services, which may incur fees for early termination. Price increases in electricity are anticipated, with some suppliers already raising their rates significantly. Experts warn that future contract renewals will likely lead to higher bills for consumers.
