Companiile americane își schimbă atitudinea față de China. Ce s-a schimbat după tensiunile comerciale dintre Washington și Beijing
Approximately 58% of companies surveyed by the American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai are optimistic about their prospects in China over the next five years, a 17-point increase from last year. Profitability reached its highest level since 2019, with 78% of respondents reporting profitable operations. Investment intentions are also improving, with 31% planning to increase investments by 2026. However, internal competition in China has become the primary concern for American firms, surpassing US-China tensions. Additionally, 55% view the regulatory environment as transparent, reflecting a slight improvement. The optimism is linked to better US-China relations following recent diplomatic engagements, although challenges remain, particularly from local competitors.
