Compania petrolieră Mol inaugurează un parc solar și o instalație de stocare a energiei în Ungaria

MOL Group has launched a solar park in Algyő, Hungary, with a capacity of 37.4 MWp and a 20 MW energy storage system. This project enhances the company's renewable energy portfolio and energy independence in Central Europe, reducing CO₂ emissions by about 13,000 tons annually. The solar installation can fully meet the energy needs of the Algyő region and replaces purchased electricity, benefiting approximately 22,500 households. The energy storage system helps balance fluctuations in renewable energy production. MOL operates nine solar parks in Hungary and plans to expand its energy storage capacity to 500 MWh by 2030.
