Compania LG, acuzată că spionează oamenii prin intermediul televizoarelor
LG smart TVs reportedly collect and transmit user data, including audio recordings and nearby device scans, even when offline. Investigations revealed that these TVs can record sound in standby mode and send location data to LG Ad Solutions. The Automatic Content Recognition (ACR) technology is also used to track what users watch. Similar privacy concerns have arisen with electric vehicles, as one Australian driver claimed his car could eavesdrop on conversations via its SIM card, allowing third parties to listen without detection.
