Compania H. Essers, obligată să plătească salarii restante unui șofer român

Belgian transport company H. Essers is required to pay overdue wages to a Romanian driver after a ruling by the Belgian Court of Cassation. Stefan Popescu worked for the company for four years under a Romanian contract, earning only 200 euros per month. After 11 years of legal battles, the court confirmed his right to the Belgian minimum wage. Despite H. Essers' claims of additional allowances, the court ruled in favor of Popescu, who is now entitled to over 200,000 euros in back pay. His lawyer emphasized the need for recognition of his rights after such a lengthy process.
