IKEA plans to invest around 130 million euros in Romania over the next three years, focusing on expanding its network and modernizing existing operations. The company aims to open 10 new customer meeting points and allocate over 60 million euros for the modernization of its Băneasa store. Additionally, it will invest 4.4 million euros in price reductions for Romanian customers as part of a larger 1.2 billion euro initiative across Europe. Starting September, IKEA has already reduced prices by an average of 20% on hundreds of products. The investment reflects IKEA's long-term confidence in the Romanian market and aims to enhance customer accessibility and experience.
