Compania franceză Sesterce va investi peste 10 miliarde de euro în centre de date în Finlanda

French startup Sesterce has announced an investment exceeding 10 billion euros for a supercomputing and AI-focused project in Jamsa, Finland. The project aims to develop infrastructure for supercomputing and AI, with operations expected to start in 2027. The initial phase will have a capacity of 200 MW, increasing to 600 MW in a later phase. Sesterce has already secured a reference client, although their identity remains undisclosed. This initiative aligns with a growing trend of foreign investments in Finland's data centers, driven by the country's favorable climate and stable energy supply. Recently, Google also announced a significant investment in Finnish digital infrastructure, although some projects faced environmental scrutiny.
