Compania elvețiană VAT Group, planuri de extindere în România

Swiss company VAT is expanding its recently inaugurated factory in Arad, which produces vacuum valves and related services for various industries. The facility, opened in June 2025, is VAT's third major operational hub globally, alongside Switzerland and Malaysia. It spans 21,000 square meters and includes production, engineering, IT, and supply chain functions. VAT plans to double its production workforce in Romania within three years and increase its high-precision component processing capacity by 50%. In a recent investor conference, VAT highlighted the Romanian factory as a key unit for production capacity growth, having hired over 700 employees globally in the first half of 2026, primarily in production roles.
