Electrica launches an initiative for industrial consumers to shift energy use to daytime, offering free energy in August for solar production. This comes amid severe pressure on the national energy system due to drought and production deficits. The program, "Keeping Romania Lit," encourages companies to adjust their operations to utilize excess solar energy. Energy used during sunny hours will be billed at zero cost, and participating companies will be publicly recognized in September.
