A unique Roman gold ring, discovered in Hoghiz, is showcased at the MNIR's "Tezaur Istoric" exhibition. The ring, dating from the 2nd to 3rd century AD, features two clasped hands, symbolizing unity. This motif, known as dextrarum iunctio, is associated with engagements, fidelity, and political or commercial agreements. Hoghiz was a significant strategic point in Dacia, with a military fort and a civilian settlement nearby.
