Laura Gherasim, chair of the Commission for Abuse Research, stated there are no petitions regarding businessman Fănel Bogos amid interception scandals. She emphasized that George Simion, AUR leader, never requested her to intervene unlawfully. Gherasim plans to investigate if any petitions related to Bogos exist. She believes the scandal aims to undermine the Commission's credibility, coinciding with a report on the annulment of the 2024 presidential elections. Simion denied any connection with Bogos, stating he directed inquiries to the Commission. Gherasim called for accountability for those spreading false information.
