Comisia Europeană trage linie după NextGenerationEU: aproape 80% din fondurile solicitate au fost deja plătite

The European Commission reported that €450 billion has been disbursed to EU member states through the Recovery and Resilience Mechanism (RRM), covering nearly 80% of requested funds. The remaining 32 payment requests are under evaluation, with €123 billion expected to be allocated by the end of 2026. The RRM, established in 2021 to address COVID-19 economic impacts, supports reforms and investments in digitalization, green transition, and infrastructure. Significant funds have been directed towards digital transformation and green initiatives, with estimates suggesting substantial reductions in greenhouse gas emissions. The mechanism also promotes structural reforms across member states, enhancing public administration and labor market efficiency.
