Comisia Europeană selectează 46 de noi proiecte strategice pentru a consolida aprovizionarea UE cu materii prime critice. România, printre cele 16 țări selectate
The European Commission has selected 46 new strategic projects across 16 member states to enhance the EU's supply of critical raw materials. These projects aim to meet the targets set by the Critical Raw Materials Act (CRMA) by 2030, including increasing extraction capacity to cover at least 10% of annual EU consumption. The selected projects span various stages of the raw materials value chain, focusing on extraction, processing, and recycling. They will support sectors such as batteries, defense, and aerospace, with significant contributions expected towards reducing risks and diversifying supply sources. The Commission plans to announce another call for strategic project applications by the end of 2026.
