The European Commission is preparing an Education Package focused on enhancing student and teacher competencies in the AI era, with a public consultation ongoing until September 8. The initiative aims to make teaching more attractive, strengthen basic skills among students, and prepare schools for digital education. Vice President Roxana Mînzatu emphasized the importance of listening to educators before finalizing solutions. The package will address teacher recruitment challenges, declining basic skills, and the need for schools to adapt to AI advancements.
