Comisia Europeană plătește Ucrainei 1,24 miliarde de euro pentru fabricarea de drone și rachete

The European Commission has disbursed €1.24 billion to support Ukraine's defense industry, focusing on drones and munitions. This funding is part of a larger €90 billion aid package aimed at enhancing Ukraine's defense capabilities against Russian aggression. Ursula von der Leyen emphasized the importance of this support in protecting Ukrainian citizens and infrastructure. The overall aid includes €60 billion for defense and €30 billion for budgetary assistance, with additional payments planned for 2026. Since 2022, the EU has provided a total of €228.7 billion in support to Ukraine, with ongoing financial assistance available for the coming years.
