The European Commission has launched the 2026 edition of the "European Leader" competition, inviting high school students to propose projects addressing community issues. Registration for the informational meeting is open until October 14. The competition, in partnership with the Ministry of Education, encourages students to identify local problems and develop solutions through team projects. Participants must research their chosen topics and collaborate to create actionable initiatives. The online meeting is scheduled for October 15, with project submissions accepted from October 16 to November 5. Finalists will present their projects on December 4 at the European Commission's Representation in Romania.
