The European Commission has officially launched the 'Scaleup Europe' Fund, aiming to mobilize up to 5 billion euros to support expanding European companies. This fund will facilitate faster growth for scale-ups by providing necessary investments. Ursula von der Leyen emphasized the importance of investing in European innovators to secure a competitive advantage. The fund will be managed by EQT and will focus on strategic technology sectors such as AI and biotechnology. Initial investments are expected soon, with a goal of attracting a total capital of 5 billion euros.
