Comisia Europeană deschide 8 proceduri de infringement împotriva României

The European Commission has initiated infringement procedures against Romania for failing to timely transpose several EU directives related to energy, anti-money laundering, human trafficking, and consumer rights. Romania is among the countries that have not fully communicated the implementation of these directives, which aim to enhance consumer protection, improve market structures, and ensure compliance with EU regulations. The Commission has sent delay letters to Romania and other member states that have also not met the deadlines for transposition. The directives cover various areas, including energy market reforms, anti-money laundering measures, and consumer rights regarding product repair.
