Comisia Europeană aprobă preluarea integrală a eMAG de către Naspers

The European Commission has approved Naspers' acquisition of exclusive control over Dante International, the operator of eMAG, following Iulian Stanciu's sale of his 11.77% stake. The Commission determined that the transaction does not pose competition concerns, as the companies do not operate in the same markets. Stanciu is stepping away from the company he led for nearly two decades to focus on investments in Romanian entrepreneurship. eMAG plans to continue its investment strategy, with a budget of 1.2 billion lei for the current fiscal year, targeting logistics, AI, and financial services. Naspers now holds 100% of Dante International, with eMAG's growth strategy remaining unchanged.
