Comisia Europeană aprobă o sumă record pentru crescătorii de porci din România, afectați de scumpirea combustibililor

The European Commission has approved an €11 million aid scheme for Romanian pig farmers affected by rising fuel and fertilizer prices due to the Middle East crisis. This support, equivalent to 59 million lei, aims to mitigate the impact of increased production costs from March 1, 2026, to December 31, 2026. Grants will be provided based on the price increases observed, with each eligible enterprise able to receive up to €50,000. The scheme complies with EU state aid rules and is deemed necessary and proportionate for economic support.
