Comisia Europeană alocă Ucrainei 2,86 miliarde de euro pentru drone, rachete și apărare antiaeriană, în cadrul Împrumutului de sprijin

The European Commission has allocated €2.86 billion to Ukraine for military equipment, part of a €90 billion loan aimed at defense and economic support from 2026 to 2027. This funding will enhance Ukraine's defense capabilities against ongoing Russian attacks, including drones and missiles. Ursula von der Leyen emphasized the importance of European support for protecting civilians and infrastructure. The loan includes €60 billion for defense and €30 billion for budget support, with additional funds expected in the coming weeks. Since 2022, the EU has provided a total of €231.5 billion to Ukraine, with €3.8 billion from frozen Russian assets. Ukraine can access over €17 billion in budget support for the remainder of 2026, contingent on meeting specific conditions.
