Comisia Europeană a trimis o echipă la Ceuta pentru a evalua situaţia migranţilor la faţa locului
The European Commission has sent a team to Ceuta to assess the migration situation firsthand. Commissioner Magnus Brunner emphasized ongoing support from EU agencies and readiness to increase assistance if requested by Spain. Currently, Frontex has 30 staff members in Ceuta, following a recent migration crisis where over 70,000 individuals entered illegally from Morocco. Discussions are ongoing to evaluate developments and prevent future incidents, although no ground support has been requested by the Spanish government yet.
