Comisia Europeană a selectat 46 de proiecte, inclusiv din România, pentru reducerea dependenței de materii prime critice
The European Commission has selected 46 projects from 16 member states, including Romania, to reduce dependence on imports of critical raw materials for battery production and modern technologies. These projects will receive expedited authorization and funding support. The selected initiatives cover various stages of production, including extraction, processing, and recycling of essential materials like lithium, nickel, and cobalt. The EU aims for at least 10% of strategic raw materials consumed annually to be extracted within the Union by 2030. Over two billion euros have been mobilized to support these efforts, with a focus on increasing domestic production and reducing reliance on external suppliers.
