Comisia Europeană a constatat, cu titlu preliminar, că TikTok a încălcat Regulamentul privind serviciile digitale pentru că nu a asigurat conturi sigure pentru minori
The European Commission's preliminary findings indicate that TikTok's settings for minors do not meet safety standards under the Digital Services Act. Minors can set their accounts to public, exposing them to unwanted contacts and cyberbullying risks. Even private accounts can be easily discovered, compromising their safety. The Commission suggests that TikTok should change default settings to ensure content is only visible to approved users. If confirmed, these findings could lead to a non-compliance decision and potential fines for TikTok.
