Comisia de Prognoză revizuiește în minus creșterea economică pentru anul 2026. Care sunt principalele cauze ale contracției
The National Commission for Strategy and Prognosis has revised its economic growth forecast for 2026, now predicting a contraction of 0.4%. This adjustment is attributed to geopolitical tensions, high inflation, and reduced purchasing power affecting consumer behavior. The nominal GDP is expected to rise to 2,086.3 billion lei, despite the economic downturn. The industrial sector is particularly impacted, with a projected 3.4% decrease in gross value added. While construction and agriculture show positive growth, the overall economic outlook remains cautious due to persistent challenges in demand and rising costs. Inflation estimates have also been increased, reflecting ongoing pressures from energy prices and production costs.
