Colterm are 10.000 de tone de cărbune pentru sezonul rece

Colterm, the heating company in Timișoara, has 10,000 tons of coal in stock and anticipates sufficient fuel for winter. However, railway infrastructure issues may hinder supply. The company will focus solely on production from mid-October, as transport and distribution will be managed by the local municipality. Colterm faces significant costs from carbon emission certificates, amounting to approximately 80 million lei this year. The company has lost around 3,000 properties since entering insolvency in 2022, with a continuing trend of losing about 1,000 properties annually, which could threaten its operational viability.
