Colier misterios vechi de peste 5.000 de ani, descoperit în Polonia. Din ce erau făcute cele 42 de „mărgele”

Archaeologists discovered an unusual necklace made of 42 animal teeth in a 5,000-year-old burial mound in southern Poland. This find raises questions about the rituals of a prehistoric community. The discovery occurred near Żórawina during excavations by researchers from Wrocław Medical University. The teeth were arranged to form a necklace, indicating they were intentionally processed for decoration. Initial analyses suggest the teeth may come from wolves, dogs, and bears, with some resembling human canines. The burial also contained a nearly complete male skeleton and various artifacts, dating the site to around 2900 BC, making it the oldest find in the area. Researchers believe the burial belonged to a member of the Corded Ware culture, and further analysis aims to uncover more about the individual and the community.
