An exceptional diamond necklace by Van Cleef & Arpels was stolen from a museum in Vienna during the day. Two unmasked men, captured on surveillance, broke a display case with a hammer and fled with the jewelry. The necklace, valued at several million euros, was part of a temporary exhibition dedicated to the brand. It was originally made for the former Egyptian royal family and worn by Queen Nazli in 1939. The museum has confirmed the theft but cannot provide further details about the ongoing investigation.
